When I trivialize my sin, I trivialize the gospel.
And on its tails, a probing question that I have been wrestling with of late--
Am I concerned about being seen as a sinner rather than being a sinner?
Sometimes, in all of his gentleman-like ways, the Holy Spirit simply presents us with a question. He does not condemn. He quietly convicts and reveals God's truth to our hearts. Perhaps you can ponder these truths today, too, dear friend! May the Lord work mighty things in our hearts as we walk in freedom to see our sin for what it is, confess it, and repent! Let us never minimize the power of the gospel for our hearts and lives!
