The Bible in 90 Days

Hello friends!  I am embarking on a Bible reading challenge this summer and thought perhaps you might like to join in, too!  It has been a goal of mine to read the Bible cover-to-cover for YEARS.  I have tried traditional and chronological Bible reading plans in the past, but it seems that I usually stall out in the third or fourth month.  So, then it dawned on me...what if I attempt to read the Bible within three or four months?  I looked online and lo and behold there is just that--a 90 day Bible reading plan called The Bible in 90 Days developed by Ted Cooper.  Now, there is a particular Bible they market for this, but you can use any Bible, of course.  I am personally choosing the very readable NIV translation because I have a Thinline NIV Bible without commentary that will be able to fit into my purse and be handy!  I checked out the plan and it works out to be about 12 pages a day in my Thinline Bible.

Here is the plan's website if you want to check it out:

Here is an overview of the books of the Bible.  Each entry lists an overview of the book of the Bible, as well as an explanation of key terms and people and shows where that book fits in an historical timeline and the genealogy of Jesus Christ:

Well, here's to FEASTING (or more accurately gorging) on God's Word...without the frills this summer!  Hope to see you back in September as we CELEBRATE!
