"That Snake is BAD, Daddy!"

Just the other day my husband found our three-year-old cutting up her Beginner's Bible on the floor of her bedroom.  He quickly intervened, snatched it up, and asked her what she was doing!  Apparently, she informed him that she did NOT like that snake and she thought He should be removed from God's garden!  My husband came and showed me and we couldn't help but chuckle.  Later, I had a firm talk with my little one about how God's Word is special and we ought never deface it.  However, I can't help but see that there is a lot of wisdom in her action--how I wish we all were attuned to how evil the Serpent is and seek, through prayer and God's Word, to remove him from our lives!  Carry on Christian Soldier!!
